A faux pas misguided Frederic’s career plans as a “pilot”, and now he is bound to serve as a “pirate” until his twenty-first birthday. On the eve of his emancipation, he falls in love with one of the Major General’s many daughters. But how will this man of duty react when he learns that - as a Leap Day baby - he is technically only five years old?!

Performances in the CSUSB Performing Arts Building, Ronald E. Barnes Theatre. June 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 at 8pm; June 7, 14 at 2pm. Tickets available on campus or online at http://theatre.csusb.edu : $5 for CSUSB Students and Children; $10 other Students, Seniors, & Military; and $15 General Admission. Suitable for all audiences. "The Pirates of Penzance" School Outreach: Middle & High Schools

The Department of Theatre Arts at CSUSB is offering $1-per-student tickets for groups of 10 or more middle or high school students to performances on "The Pirates of Penzance" Wednesday, June 3, Thursday, June 4, and Wednesday, June 10.

An interactive pre-show workshop will be held at 6:15 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. in the Ron Barnes Theatre here on campus. Each group will also have the opportunity to schedule a post-show workshop, held at their school or other venue. Teachers/leaders will receive a resource packet with information and curricular-based activity ideas to enhance the play-going experience.

Space is limited, and reservations are mandatory! To reserve a block of tickets, please call the Box Office at 909-537-5884.
